New Design OTEC CF Disc Finishing Machines Boast New Program and Control Options

The impressive OTEC CF series of disc finishing machines has undergone a redesign and the updated version is available now to UK manufacturers.

“OTEC has made significant control improvements through a larger 7.5 inch colour touch display that now allows for up to 1000 programmes to be stored. This provides users with greater flexibility to set, remember and recall parameters for finishing processes, whilst avoiding inputting errors and ensuring exact repeatability,” explained Fintek’s Jamie Phillips. Of course being able to store so many programmes means there has also been a complementary update to making data back-ups.

The compact modular welded construction adds to its ease of disassembly and reassembly, making it simple to relocate and fit within any space. It also features storage space for the compound container and pumping station helping to avoid trip hazards.

Integrated options for remote machine maintenance and control will make the new OTEC CF series ideal surface finishing systems for smart factories.

Importantly for users in aerospace, motorsports, medical device and other precision industries, the new CF series still has OTEC’s zero-gap disc to drum technology that allows extremely fine and thin workpieces, down to a sheet thickness of 0.08mm, to be processed. The advanced container design promotes high quality mass finishing for any fine blanked, turned, milled, stamped and punched parts, in rapid process times and with exact repeatability.
