Bringing You the Best Surface Finishing Technology in the World

The technology of surface finishing is constantly evolving to meet your changing needs. Fintek is the only company in the UK where, under one roof, you will have access to multiple technologies developed by the world leaders in surface finishing. Our machine partners are:

otec

OTEC Präzisionsfinish GmbH – Disc, drag and high-energy surface finishing machines from OTEC set high standards and achieve perfect process reliability. From very thin and delicate parts to large components, the right combination of machine, media and cycle time can deliver surface finishes from standard smoothness to high performance superfinishing. Advanced technology machines we use, developed by OTEC, are able to finish parts with complex geometries and can target specific surfaces for precise finishing with minimal material removal.

rena

RENA Technologies Austria GmbH - Hirtisation® is an electrochemical process that efficiently removes support structures, powder cake, partially melted grains, and reduces the surface roughness of 3D printed metal parts. It is especially effective at treating internal surfaces, deep undercuts and other hard to reach areas common to parts made by additive manufacturing.

palms logo 1

Palms - Plasma Additive Layer Manufacture Smoothing, is an innovative process from Wallwork's Cambridge research and development centre, who specialise in plasma technology for surface treatments. It can micro-finish additively manufactured parts in under 20 minutes. Though especially suited to metal parts produced by additive manufacturing, it also works well with machined parts.
